Live large-format visual note-taking

Bring a visual practitioner into your next meeting or event to leverage live visual note-taking.

Graphic recording, also known as visual note-taking, is the process of capturing ideas, conversations, and information in real time using a combination of words, images, and visual elements to create a memorable and engaging visual artifact.

Digital Scribing is live visual note-taking using digital tools, adding a level of versatility, accessibility, and ease of distribution helpful for virtual and online events.

 FAQ

Q: What is the difference between graphic recording and digital scribing?

In the industry, a graphic recorder usually works in-person with markers on paper, and a digital scribe works on a tablet like an iPad. Digital scribes make adding an engaging visual element to virtual events and meetings easier.

Q: What logistics do we need to consider with a venue?

Graphic recording is done by hanging a large-format paper (4’ x 8 “) on a portable, free-standing drawing surface or flat wall and using colorful markers to capture the content.

The visual practitioner will need about 9 feet x 5 feet of floor space to set-up and work with good lighting.

Q: How much will it cost?

It depends on the length, size, and complexity of your event. The minimum graphic recording or digital scribing package might cost $1,500 and includes one planning meeting, 1 hour of live event time, and post-production work.

Q: Will you travel?

Yes, the client will be responsible for travel costs. Rachel is based in the Raleigh/Cary, NC area.
